Or you can be a bushes shadow and strike quietly with CQC, a bow, or throwing knives. Since the map is more of a sandbox in these contracts you can go in loud with shotguns, grenades, and C4. The Classic Contracts of course gives more freedoms in the type of gameplay you want. The alternating of mission structures gives a nice taste of all sorts of gameplay options. You won’t be sniping targets from 1000+ meters away here. These maps require more of a traditional stealth type gameplay with a lot of hiding in bushes and closer combat. Classic Contracts put you in a open map with a set of targets that you can take down in whatever order. This means you’ll need to be prepared for long distance and some CQC instances. You will need to move through various enemy outposts to get to the sniping spots. Long Shot Contracts feature a fairly linear map that will take you to various sniping perches to pick off enemies from afar. Depending on the type of missions, the maps are structured very well to fit the gameplay. Each mission has its own map and set of targets and challenges. There are two different kind of mission structures that are featured and for each one a certain loadout will benefit. Give me some well done maps, some targets, and let me do the rest. That’s about the gist of it since it never really tries to be anything more than what it is, and I’m fine with that. The game takes place along the Lebanese and Syrian borders where you must stop a criminal syndicate by blowing their leaders brains into tiny chunks. You play as Raven, a contract sniper assassin who is hired to take out a series of contracts in the Middle East. Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 has a pretty simple plot, and luckily it doesn’t beat you over the head with it. Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 feels like a combination of Hitman and Far Cry, and I love it. I get the same satisfaction from titles like Hitman, where smartly planned assassinations are rewarded. They call it a “no fun run”, but to me it’s rewarding and intense planning your strikes from the shadows. My friends laugh at me because I play Dishonoredfull stealth, no kills, and no powers. The act of being able to pick off an entire map without being spotted is a thrill for me and its own type of puzzle. Give me an option and I’ll choose to be a long range stealth assassin every time. I don't usually give sniper games a 10 star, but this game hit me really hard to the point when It made me say this is 2021 game of the year for me, and I've played many huge titles in 2021 like RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE, Far Cry 6, It takes two, and Hitman 3 etc. It’s no secret that I love a good stealth game. Also It makes you think really hard for a stealthy approach while playing each mission many times due to the unique good contracts the developers have put in inside each mission !!!?! If you're just looking for a really good story this game is NOT for you, but if you're here to enjoy the game-play of the best sniper game mechanics ever produced out to the gaming industry "welcome aboard". Even this game blows Sniper Elup to the sky with a huge upgrade difference in both sniping mechanics, and graphics. Its also so realistic with the stealth mechanics aswell when you shoot an enemy "with even a suppressor on" you will still be heard If an enemy is really in a close by range. This game sniping mechanics and graphics is astonishingly mind-blowing! Have ever sniped someone in a game miles away before to the point where you can't even see the target's village without a binoculars and an Enhanced Sniper Telescopic Sight? Well in contracts 2 you will definitely be shocked with the distance you can preform a sniper shot and with the sniping mechanics like air and humidity that can interfere with your shot accurateness. I have played Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 +SGW3+ Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2019, and I also have played Sniper Elite 2004 + Sniper Elite 3 2016, and last Sniper Elite 5 2022, but this game best them all in every aspects.
